Collection: Laser Cutting & Engraving

Some materials may not be compatible with laser engraving, but we are happy to provide a complimentary evaluation on your sample to assess its suitability. Pricing for laser engraving is based on the duration of the engraving process.

Our Laser Engraver can cut through Perspex, Wood, and other materials to create a variety of shapes and sizes. It can also be used to engrave letters, numbers, and shapes, as well as for etching rubber stamps.

We provide two types of Laser Marking; Scoring and Engraving. Scoring is a technique employed to create an outlined effect, wherein we use the artwork's border (unfortunately no photos). Engraving, on the other hand, involves filling the entire artwork to create a picture or a filled design.

Scoring requires less laser-energy relative to engraving and is much more cost-effective as a result of reduced laser-time on the materials.

We offer a variety of services with our laser engraving equipment, including cuts, engravings, and other modifications on an array of materials:

Rubber
Leather
ABS
MDF wood
Perspex
Plexi glass
Cork

Depending on the quantity of items ordered, a one-time fee may be assessed. The time-cost of engraving or cutting is based on the time needed to finish each item. Generally, the rate is R8.00 per minute, with an average setup fee of R220. Engraving a Memory stick or Pen usually costs R5.00 each and takes 5 to 7 working days.

Orders under R1000 incur an additional R150 setup fee for a minimum order amount of R500.

Accurate artwork is essential for us to accurately quote any engraving or laser cutting project.
